Salisbury shooting victim identified

SALISBURY — Police say they received a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Tillman Street at 2:25 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, and when they arrived, they found one man who had been shot.
Reports say emergency responders tried to save Emmanuel Houston Jr., 18, but were unable to, and he died at the scene.
Salisbury police and the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) are currently investigating the shooting.

“Our prayers and thoughts go out to the Houston family,” said Major T.J. Crews of the Salisbury police.
