Basketball playoff pairings and seedings for the 32-team brackets are now expected to be announced on Sunday, instead of Saturday.

That will give teams a chance to play conference tournament games on Saturday if they were postponed.

Girls teams from East Rowan, North Rowan and Salisbury and boys teams from Carson, Salisbury and North Rowan will be in the playoffs.

The schedule for the NCHSAA wrestling championship for girls and boys was pushed back two days due to the winter storm.

Wrestling action at the Greensboro Coliseum will be on Saturday through Monday rather than Thursday through Saturday.

Wrestling action will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Wrestling starts at 1:30 on Sunday. Wrestling begins on Monday at 9 a.m.
