SALISBURY — A gospel singing is planned for March 15 at 3 p.m. at City Park Recreation Center, 316 Lake Drive, Salisbury.

This ninth annual event will feature a number of groups including Adinah Lyerly of Tower of Power, Mister Melody Long of Gaffney, S.C., Unity & Praise, Gospel Keytones Walt Mitchell, Men of Praise, Echoes of Christ and Battina Hooper.

In addition to the music, a time of prayer will be offered in the service by Bryant McClean, and scripture will be read by Mavis Marshall. A love offering will also be taken at this time.

During the afternoon, a variety of food will also be sold including whiting or croaker fish, chicken, baked beans, slaw and sodas.
