SALISBURY — Livingstone’s women’s basketball team beat rival Johnson C. Smith on Tuesday’s Senior Night at New Trent Gym.

The Blue Bears took a 71-58 victory behind Samiyah Briggs and Morgan Kelson. Briggs made four 3-pointers and scored 21 points. Kelson had 18 points and 15 rebounds.

Bria Griffith helped out with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Livingstone (10-15, 8-7) plays at Winston-Salem State on Saturday as it prepares for the CIAA Tournament in Baltimore.
