MISENHEIMER — Former Carson standout Hannah Isley had a career game for Pfeiffer’s women’s basketball team on Tuesday.
Isley was 11-for-17 from the field, 4-for-5 on 3-pointers and 4-for-4 on free throws for 30 points.
The Falcons (11-11, 8-7 USA South) still lost to Brevard 74-61 in Merner Gym. Brevard (17-5, 12-3) is one of USA South’s top teams.
Isley is a junior and was part of Carson’s state championship team in 2021.
She’s usually been a key player for the Falcons during her college career, but she had a shooting slump early this season, dropped out of the starting lineup and had a big decrease in minutes.
Isley has gotten back in the starting lineup the last four games and has done well, a run that was capped by her performance on Tuesday. She’s averaging 6.2 points per game for the season.
