KANNAPOLIS Crossover Kannapolis is an annual worship service among area churches that seeks to cross over cultural, racial, ethnic and denominational barriers. With February being Race Relations Month, this 27th annual worship service includes participants from Black, Chinese, Hispanic, Indian and White congregations, all coming together to worship God in unity.

This year’s Crossover Kannapolis service will be held at Centerview Baptist Church, 415 Walter Street in Kannapolis on Sunday evening, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. The service will consist of special music from various church choirs and praise teams, Scripture readings, congregational singing, prayers, a testimony, and a mass choir of all the churches at the end. A special offering will also be collected to help support a local area Christian ministry.

The participating churches include Agape Chinese Baptist Church North, Camino Church, Centerview Baptist, Marable Memorial AME Zion, and New Life Fellowship Church. The pastors and churches from the Community BRIDGE Project in Kannapolis will take part in the service as well. One of the goals of the Crossover Kannapolis service is to demonstrate unity among the churches in the midst of diversity.
