Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• An assault on North Chapel Street, Landis reportedly occurred about 8:10 a.m. Feb. 12.

• A larceny at a business on Peeler Road reportedly occurred between 1 pm. Feb. 9 and noon Feb. 10. The incident was reported Feb. 12,

• A burglary on Ketner Farm Road, China Grove reportedly occurred between 6 and 11:57 a.m. Feb. 12.

• A motor vehicle theft on U.S. Hwy. 601 reportedly occurred between 10:41 p.m. Feb. 5 and 10:41 Feb. 12.

• Emetrius Aquial, 34, was charged Feb. 12 with simple assault. 

• Lakeisha Baker Glover, 38, was charged Feb. 12 with two counts of uttering a forged instrument and two counts of obstruction of justice.

• Thomas Earl Guy, 59, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender.

• Andrew Rex Drake, 28, was charged with simple assault and assault by strangulation.

Salisbury Police reports

• Property damage from a hit and run on Woodson Street reportedly occurred about 11:05 a.m. Feb. 13.

• Property damage from a hit and run on Ferndale Drive reportedly occurred between noon Feb. 9 and 2:23 p.m. Feb. 13.

• A motor vehicle was reportedly stolen from West Cemetery Street between 7:05 and 7:55 p.m. Feb. 13.

• A report of shots fired into an occupied home on South West Street about 8:50 p.m. Feb. 13. No reports of injuries.

• An assault with a knife on North Main Street reportedly occurred about 2:20 a.m. Feb. 14.

• Charles Erroyl Richardson, 49, was charged Feb. 13 with misdemeanor violation of the domestic violence act and resist/obstruct/delay of a public officer.

• Phillip Wayne Carter, 48, was charged Feb. 13 with possession of schedule II controlled substance with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute.

• Flarentina Dale, 54, was charged Feb. 13 with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Stacy Lynn Hemphill, 39, was charged Feb. 13 with misdemeanor larceny.
