Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports
• Weapons on school grounds involving a drug overdose on Peeler Road reportedly occurred between 6:50 and 9:25 a.m. Feb. 10. Incident was reported Feb. 11.
• An assault with a knife on Dogwood Estates Drive, China Grove reportedly occurred at 9:40 a.m. Feb. 11, following a physical fight in which one party pointed a knife at another.
• Michael Wade Jones, 55, was charged Feb. 11 with assault on a female and misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
• Cassidy Ann Wall, 29, was charged Feb. 11 with contempt of court/violating orders of court.
• Jimmy Lee Stapleton, 38, was charged Feb. 11 with communicating threats.
• Bailey Tyler Richardson, 25, was charged Feb. 11 with promoting prostitution in a minor/person with mental disability.
• Christopher Lee Vestal, 27, was charged Feb. 11 with possession of stolen goods.
• Sherman William Moss, 59, was charged Feb. 11 with misdemeanor simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of schedule II controlled substance.
Salisbury Police reports
• An assault on Park Avenue reportedly occurred about 6 a.m. Feb. 12.
• Shots fired into an occupied property on West Horah Street reportedly occurred between 9:40 and 10:14 a.m. Feb. 12, and no injuries were reported.
• A larceny on Swaim Court reportedly occurred between noon Jan. 31 and 10:36 a.m. Feb. 12. Total estimated loss was $562.
• Property damage from a hit and run on Statesville Boulevard reportedly occurred about 10:47 a.m. Feb. 12.
• A larceny from a motor vehicle on Elm Street reportedly occurred between 5:37 and 6 a.m. Feb. 12. Total estimated loss was $20.
• A larceny from a motor vehicle on Sonny Acres Drive reportedly occurred at 3:57 p.m. Feb. 12.
• A larceny on Oakwood Avenue reportedly occurred between 6:01 p.m. Feb. 3 and 5 p.m. Feb. 11. Incident was reported Feb. 12. Total estimated loss was $1,600.
• A burglary at Walmart Inc. on South Arlington Street reportedly occurred about 7:09 p.m. Feb. 12. Total estimated loss was $84.
• A burglary at the Smoke Pit on Faith Road reportedly occurred about 12:38 a.m. Feb. 13.
• Christopher Jacob Arquette, 23, was charged Feb. 12 with breaking or entering buildings.
• Erica Nicole Gainey, 35, was charged Feb. 12 with common obstruction of justice.
