Ill-advised and injudicious

I recently read with great sadness, angst and worry the 28-acre, $30 million, 94-home development going in on Sells Road passed by the (Salisbury) City Council. This project will do a great deal to complicate the lives of established residents on Sells Road. Frankly, it is very frightening and depressing. Our family has lived on this road since the ’70s. Since then, the traffic has increased exponentially. Sadly, for us, Sells Road is everyone’s favorite shortcut reroute from multiple neighborhoods north. Know that if you live in Eagle Heights or Country Club Hills, get ready for those area roads to be used as shortcuts for the people in these new houses. The City Council’s decision was ill-advised and injudicious.
