Letter: A life-saving partnership

I am writing to express my gratitude for the support that United Way has provided to the Family Crisis Council Shelter. As someone who has worked closely with this organization, I have seen firsthand the impact of their generosity and commitment to helping survivors of domestic violence rebuild their lives.
Through United Way’s funding and resources, the Family Crisis Council has been able to expand its services, offering safe shelter, counseling and advocacy to individuals in crisis. Their contributions have helped provide essential needs such as food, clothing and emergency assistance, ensuring that survivors and their children have the support they need to heal and move forward.
Beyond financial assistance, United Way’s partnership has strengthened community outreach programs, enabling more people to access life-saving resources. Their commitment to creating a safer and healthier community is evident in the countless lives they have touched through their support of local shelters like ours.
I encourage community members to continue supporting United Way, as their efforts make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing unimaginable hardships. Together, we can continue to provide hope and safety to those who need it most.
Sincerely,
— Kimberly Fowler
