The leader of the local liberal party stated in his letter to the editor on Feb. 6, that he still believes in democracy.
Does his belief mean that it is OK to spend millions of taxpayer’s money on sex change surgery in other countries, condoms for Afghanistan, or money to help the Taliban grow poppies to make heroin? Liberals cry that the amount of money spent on such wasteful causes that do not benefit us, is less than 1 percent. If you support such nonsense, then are you willing to “pay your fair share”?

Taxes we pay should be used to fund our needs. It is our money, not theirs.

Remember this when the mid-term elections come. This insanity must stop! You can’t call any of this democracy.
