Salisbury Police reports
• Property damage from a hit and run on Jake Alexander Boulevard West reportedly occurred about 11:20 a.m. Feb. 4.
• A larceny from a motor vehicle on Calvin Avenue reportedly occurred about 1:03 p.m. Feb. 4. Total estimated loss was $20.
• Property damage from a hit and run on Statesville Boulevard reportedly occurred about 5:20 p.m. Feb. 3 and was reported Feb. 4.
• A burglary on West Council Street reportedly occurred between 7:05 a.m. and 6:58 p.m. Feb. 4. Total estimated loss was $1,100.
• A larceny from a business on East Innes Street reportedly occurred between 8:45 and 9:35 p.m. Feb. 4. Total estimated loss was $39.
• A fraud referral from Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office involves an instance of fraud on Jake Alexander Boulevard West sometime between Sept. 13 2024 and Feb. 5, 2025 involving $10,000.
• A larceny from a business on Marriott Circle reportedly occurred between 10 p.m. Feb. 2 and 8 p.m. Feb. 4. The incident was reported Feb. 5 with a total estimated loss was $60.
• Jerry Wayne Whisonant, 48, was charged Feb. 4 with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing.
• James Edward Jones, 40, was charged Feb. 4 with resist/obstruct/delay of a public officer.
