Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• Property damage from vandalism reportedly occurred on Vista Drive reportedly occurred at 10:11 a.m. Jan. 29.

• A larceny from a building on Coppergate Drive reportedly occurred between 1 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 27 and was reported Jan. 29.

• An attempted robbery with a firearm on Statesville Boulevard reportedly occurred about 5:05 p.m. Jan. 29.

• A burglary on Greenfield Road, China Grove reportedly occurred about 7:31 p.m. Jan. 29.

• Ahmad Jalon Thomas, 26, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with two counts of trafficking in opium or heroin.

• Tina Marie Young, 41, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• Gary Wayne Collier Jr., 55, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with injury to personal property.

• Brian Jeffrey Morrison, 54, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with possession of up to 1/2 ounce of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia.

• Adam Lee Gibson, 35, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with weapons violations, kidnapping, assault by pointing a gun and illegal discharge of a weapon.

• Stevie Williams, 69, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

• A larceny on Jake Alexander Boulevard West reportedly occurred between 7:52 and 8:12 a.m. Jan. 30. Total estimated loss was $1,200.

• Property damage on East Council Street reportedly occurred about 1:40 p.m. Jan. 30.

• Property damage on East Fisher Street reportedly occurred about 6:10 p.m. Jan. 30.

• Jimmy Lee Harris, 43, was arrested Jan. 30 and charged with second-degree trespassing.

• Malinda Jeffries Scott-reconco, 49, was arrested Jan. 30 and charged on a warrant service and arrest Class B.

• Reginald Eugene Horne, 44, was arrested Jan, 30 and charged with misdemeanor impaired driving.

• Edwin Sanchez Martinez, 24, was arrested Jan. 30 and charged with misdemeanor impaired driving.
