Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports
• A theft of a motor vehicle from St. Matthews Church Road reportedly occurred between 9 p.m. Jan. 26 and 7 a.m. Jan. 27 and was reported Jan. 28.
• An assault on Sherrills Ford Road reportedly occurred about 5 p.m. Jan. 28.
• Elizabeth Faye Neugent, 34, was arrested Jan 28 and charged with second-degree trespassing.
• Desmond Anthony Jackson, 29, was arrested Jan. 28 on a governor warrant.
• Zachary Scott Ghent, 23, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with tampering with an electronic monitoring device.
• Terry Brian Parham, 54, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of methamphetamine and possession of stolen goods.
• Ricky Lam, 40, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
• Jessie Edward Cousins, 42, was arrested Jan. 28 on a true bill of indictment.
• Raymond Lawrence Phillips, 41, was arrested Jan. 28 and charged with assault on a female and crime of domestic violence.
Salisbury Police reports
• A burglary on North Jackson Street reportedly occurred between 2 p.m. Jan. 27 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 28.
• Property damage from a hit and run on South Main Street at South Fulton Street reportedly occurred about 5:35 p.m. Jan. 29.
• Property damage from a hit and run on East Miller Street reportedly occurred about 11:25 p.m. Jan. 29.
• Tammy Loraine Dobson, 62, was arrested Jan. 29 on a warrant Class B.
• Ja’aria Dekhale Carter, 20, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with felony possession of stolen goods.
• Martin Lee Hayes, 36, was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with resist/obstruct/delay of a public officer.
• Jimmy Lee Harris, 43, was arrested Jan. 30 and charged with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing.
