The N.C. Democratic Chair, Anderson Clayton, has been named as the guest speaker for the Rowan County Democrats’ monthly breakfast, scheduled for 10 a.m. on Feb.8 at the party headquarters, 1504 W. Innes St., Salisbury.

Clayton serves as the current chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party. Elected at 25 years old, she is the youngest chair of a state Democratic party. Clayton has rapidly become a rising star in the national party. She grew up in Roxboro and is a graduate of Appalachian and former national field organizer.

Clayton has shared a vision for reaching rural North Carolinians and electing Democrats, one that has been shared on national news networks and Substack platforms. The breakfast will be aimed at learning more about Clayton’s views of the state of the state as local residents look directly at ideas to elect more Democrats.

The Democrats ask anyone who is able to bring to bring a dish to share to the potluck. Doors open by 9:45.

We invite all who support our mission to join us. For more information about upcoming events or for local updates, go to rowancountydemocrats.com.
