SPENCER — Lincoln Charter’s girls beat North Rowan 66-36 on Saturday afternoon, finalizing the seeds for the upcoming Sam Moir Christmas Classic (Dec. 26-28) at Catawba College.

East Rowan (6-2) is the No. 1 seed. The Mustangs clinched that honor with a 51-48 win at South Iredell on Friday.

Mount Pleasant (5-3) is seeded second. Salisbury (4-3) crushed South Davidson 73-21 on Friday night, has won four of its last five games, and is seeded third.

Central Davidson (4-5) is seeded fourth. South Rowan (3-6) has lost five in a row, but in a down year for a lot of local girls teams, the Raiders are the No. 5 seed.

North Rowan (1-4) is seeded sixth, so the Cavaliers will tangle with rival Salisbury in the first round.

Carson (1-7) has been playing very respectably, but has been playing the best teams in the South Piedmont Conference and hasn’t been able to get wins. The Cougars are seeded seventh.

Defending tournament champ West Rowan (0-7) lost a 47-46 game at Concord on Friday and is the No. 8 seed.
