Do you plan to vote in the 2024 General Election? The first step is to verify whether or not you are registered to vote in Rowan County. A quick way for you to check is to go to https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/ to access the online voter search tool for North Carolina. If you check the voter search tool and find you are a registered voter no further action is needed. You are ready to vote in the 2024 General Election. Simply bring a valid photo ID with you to the polls and cast your ballot. If you do not have a valid photo ID, one can be obtained for free by visiting the Rowan County Board of Elections office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ID services stop briefly from Nov. 2 at 3 p.m. through Election Day. The service will resume Nov. 6.
If you discover you are not registered to vote or need to update your registration with a new address or name change you can do so by completing a voter registration form.
