High school girls golf: East 2nd, South 3rd at Rolling Hills

SALISBURY — Lake Norman Charter’s Caitlyn Frisch shot 37 on Monday at Rolling Hills to lead her team to another South Piedmont Conference victory.
Lake Norman Charter’s Seehe Vera and Northwest Cabarrus’ Carson Verburg tied for second at 39.
Jaelyn Earnhardt was fourth with a 40 and led East Rowan to second place. East’s Kaley Pfister was eighth with a 45. The third score for the Mustangs was Cailey Ludwig’s 49.
South Rowan placed third in the team scores and had three in the top 10.
Sara Culbert shot 44 to lead the Raiders. She tied for sixth. Ava Blume was ninth with a 46. Raella Smokstad shot 48 for 10th place.
Northewst Cabarrus finished fourth. West Rowan was fifth.
