Commissioners missing from deployment ceremony

It was disappointing not to have a single member of the Rowan County commissioners at the deployment ceremony for the 430th Fire Fighting Detachment, North Carolina National Guard recently. I thought that the Salisbury airport was one of the high-priority issues for the commissioners.

Especially after seeing my property taxes increase dramatically to $440 per month in my escrow account at F&M Bank. It seems like we taxpayers keep “supporting” without even trying.

Maybe we can let the “trio” know what we think at the polls.
