First Calvary Baptist Church, located at 400 South Long Street, Salisbury, will celebrate with a Gospel Explosion on July 27 at 3 p.m. at the church followed by its 158th anniversary service on July 28.

At the 11 a.m. service, Rev. Dr. David C. Camps Sr. will speak. Following dinner that will be served immediately after morning service, the afternoon program will began at 3 p.m. and will be led by the Rev. Justin Wade, the associate minister at Genesis Baptist Church in Greensboro.
