The Frederick Douglass Foundation of North Carolina presents the Douglass Debate Series – U.S. House District 6

SPENCER — The Frederick Douglass Foundation of North Carolina presents the Douglass Debate Series. The intent of this initiative is to deepen the democratic process by facilitating informed, meaningful and respectful debates among Republican primary candidates across the state. Kicking off the series is the U.S House District 6 debate. It will be held on Jan. 26, at the First Community Center on 215 5th Street, Spencer, from 6-9 p.m. featuring candidates vying to become the Republican nominee for the 6th Congressional District of North Carolina.

By virtue of this opening debate, constituent’s will learn the candidate’s solution for cutting taxes, securing the border and protecting Americans from foreign and domestic threats. Promoting transparency, dialogue and candidate accountability.
