I have a dream

Martin Luther King said, “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men and women are created equal.”

With that being said, our MLK celebration has been modified to paper and a lot of restrictions have some of the community feeling picked over, neglected and left out.

Due to online registration, which made it hard for some of our seniors to register, limited community participation for the breakfast and parade was limited. 

Also last but not least, who can participate in the community resource fair? Civic center participants were denied because it was stated they weren’t a great fit for a community research fair …  I have a dream.
