SALISBURY — Champ Hayden scored 37 points t0 lead North Hills Christian’s boys basketball team to a 94-70 win against Rockwell Christian on Monday.

Hayden, a 6-foot-3 guard, is averaging 35.7 points for the Eagles (6-1).

Hayden had 12 rebounds and four assists. He shot 15-for-28 and was 4-for-12 on 3-pointers.

Malachi Strong had 27 points, nine rebounds and seven steals for North Hills.

Zachary Strickland added 13 points.

North Hills led 46-33 at the half.

Rockwell Christian is 2-5.

North Hills plays Statesville Christian (1-1) at home on Thursday.
