RALEIGH — Paul Atkinson and Dane Goodwin posted double-doubles and Notre Dame recovered after blowing a 17-point first-half lead to beat North Carolina State 69-57 on Saturday.

Atkinson had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Goodwin 12 points and 10 boards. Blake Wesley added 14 points, Prentiss Hubb 13 and Trey Wertz 12.

Nate Laszewski, who had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Fighting Irish over the Wolfpack 73-65 on Jan. 26, was scoreless after suffering a lower-leg contusion early and didn’t return. Notre Dame shot 53%.

Terquavion Smith scored 19 points to lead the Wolfpack. Dereon Sebbron added 14 points and nine rebounds. Casey Morsell and Cam Hayes scored 11 points each. Jericole Hellems, who averages 14.4 points per game, suffered a cut left hand early in the second half and returned to play but did not score in 17 minutes. NC State shot 30%.

Tulane 86,  East Carolina 66

NEW ORLEANS — Jaylen Forbes had 26 points and Jalen Cook had 19 points and Tulane beat East Carolina.

DeVon Baker added 12 points and Kevin Cross had 10 points and six assists for Tulane (10-10, 7-4 American Athletic Conference).

Vance Jackson had 27 points and eight rebounds for the Pirates (11-11, 2-8), who now have lost six straight.

Gardner-Webb 69, NC A&T 62

BOILING SPRINGS  — Reserve Anthony Selden had 18 points on 4-for-6 shooting from 3-point range to lead Gardner-Webb past North Carolina A&T.

Zion Williams had 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Gardner-Webb (13-10, 7-3 Big South Conference), which earned its fourth straight victory. D’Maurian Williams added 12 points. Kareem Reid had 10 points and three blocks.

Harry Morrice had 14 points for the Aggies (9-15, 4-6), whose losing streak stretched to five games. Jeremy Robinson added 10 points. Kameron Langley had six assists.
