SALISBURY — No one was harmed after two incidents where shots were fired unto occupied buildings on Saturday and a third on Sunday.

The first, on Merritt Avenue at about 1 a.m., was reported after someone reported hearing several gunshots. The Salisbury Police Department found spent casings in the road.

Officers spoke with the resident who reported the incident and there is no suspect information at this time.

The other incident took place on North Church Street at about 11:30 a.m. A call came into the Salisbury Police Department reporting the sound. When officers arrived on scene, they found spent casings. The victim said he was inside the home when he heard several bangs.

The victim saw a gold vehicle, and the shots appeared to come from the passenger-side window. One bullet entered the home. SPD Detective Rus DeSantis noted bullet holes were found on a vehicle at the residence, but these were not new.

The Sunday incident occurred at about 5 a.m. on West Horah Street. Shell casings were found at the scene and there appeared to be damage to the home from gunshots.

There was another shooting on Friday that resulted in an injury, adding to the expanding list of shootings this month.
