Rowan weather: Slight chance of showers this afternoon

Another cold morning brings us closer to the weekend. Today will be partly sunny and 50, but we’ll have more wind, from the southwest, at 5-13 mph, gusting to 22 mph.

There is a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly between 2 and 5 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Tonight will be mostly clear and cold again, with a low of 29 and west wind at 5-7 mph.

Saturday will be sunny and 46, with west northwest wind at 6-9 mph. The low will be 25, with clear skies and light north wind.

We warm up a little Sunday, with sunshine and a high of 58. Winds will be south southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon. Sunday night’s low will be 38, with partly cloudy skies.

Monday brings a 40 percent chance of rain after 10 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 60.

Monday night will have a 30 percent chance of rain before 8 p.m., then a chance again after 1 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 49.

The chance of rain Tuesday will be 70 percent, with cloudy skies and a warmer high of 67. Tuesday night’s chance of rain will be 50 percent, with cloudy skies and a low of 58.

Wednesday will be rainy, but 70 degrees. The chance of rain is 70 percent. The low will be 49, with a 60 percent chance of rain and mostly cloudy skies.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and 64, with a 30 percent chance of rain.
