NCDOT maintenance has closed Bringle Ferry Road beginning today until Saturday, Feb. 29 in order to replace a storm drain culvert that crosses under the road.

The location is approximately seven-tenths of a mile east of the intersection with Panther Creek Road and approximately three-tenths of a mile west of the intersection with Surratt Road. The GPS coordinates are N 35.5890 W 80.2633.

The road will be closed day and night for the duration of the work, about five working days.
