Rowan man sought on rape charges added to Sheriff’s most wanted list

WOODLEAF — A Woodleaf man is being sought by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office on charges of second-degree forcible rape and kidnapping, according to information provided by the sheriff’s office.

Raheem Christopher Kelly, 24, was last known to be living in the Woodleaf area of western Rowan County. Rowan Sheriff’s detectives began investigating the incident in January. Kelly has several known associates in Salisbury, as well. Kelly is 6 foot 1 and weighs 175 pounds.
