Spencer Police looking for robbery suspect

SPENCER — Spencer Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a convenience store this morning.

The man walked into the King’s Store, 429 N. Salisbury Ave., at 10:40 a.m. armed with a gun. He left in a white vehicle believed to be a 2019 or 2020 Kia Forte with a Tennessee license plate.

Surveillance images show the man was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, red shoes, a hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored hat.

According to Chief Mike James, the suspect pulled out a pistol and pointed it at the clerk. The man took cash. The clerk was not harmed in the robbery and no one else was in the store at the time.
