Salisbury defeated Randleman, 14-7, in the state 2AA East final Friday night.
With the victory, the Hornets (13-2) advance to the state championship game on Dec. 14 at Wake Forest University’s BB&T Field. The opponent will be Shelby (13-1), winners of the West 2AA final on Friday night over Burns.
