Rowan weather: Temperatures dropping to the 30s

With light rain falling, it’s around 50 degrees. But temperatures will drop throughout the day to 35 around 5 p.m.

We have a 100 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m., along with patchy fog between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.

North winds will bring the cold in at 6-14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Tonight will be clear and very cold, with a low of 20. North wind will be at 8-13 mph, gusting to 22 mph.

Wednesday will be sunny, but cold, with a high of 41. Northeast wind will be at 3-8 mph. The low will be 20 again, with clear skies and calm wind.

Thursday will be partly sunny and 45, with calm wind. A 20 percent chance of rain is possible after 3 p.m. The low will be 33, with cloudy skies and a 30 percent chance of rain after 1 a.m.

Friday will be mostly cloudy and warmer, with a high of 55. There will be a 30 percent chance of rain before 10 a.m. The low will be 31, with mostly cloudy skies.

The weekend is going to be cool. Saturday’s high will be 50, with mostly sunny skies. It will be a partly cloudy night with a low of 28.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and 52. The low will be 35, with mostly cloudy skies.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, too, with a high of 58.
