SALISBURY — Police are looking for a man who went through a number of vehicles at two apartment complexes early Friday morning on Pearl Street.

A detective said all of the vehicles were unlocked.

A witness saw a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a colorful backpack going through cars around 3 a.m. The woman said she was sitting in her living room when she could see the man.

Two apartment complexes — Cambridge Court III and Nestlewood Apartments — were hit. According to Detective Russ DeSantis, there were at least 10 vehicles reported that had been gone through.

Nothing was taken from any of the vehicles. A K-9 ran a track but was unsuccessful.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Salisbury Police at 704-638-5333 or Salisbury-Rowan Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.
