Letter: Ode to Al Heggins’ re-election campaign

The same old, same old just won’t do. Salisbury is a community, not a feudal zoo.

You wonder why the jobs won’t come. You need to sell the city like Al Heggins has done.

All hard work, commitment, dollar savvy and whip smart, and more important, the biggest heart.

She knows “the hole in the donut” ain’t no riddle. The answer is not to ignore those in the middle.

Those folks are all just eating fresh air. While the selected few have “jam” to spare

Just to end, let’s not forget. The demographics ain’t finished yet. Old white men just like I am need to move over and say “amen”

So open your minds, young and old. Question always what you are told.

Push from the bottom and raise your voice. Vote for Al Heggins, the people’s choice.
