On Wednesday, Duke Energy will hold a pop-up community meeting at Rowan Helping Ministries from 9 a.m. to noon.
Duke Energy representatives will be on site to answer questions customers may have about their electric bill. With the cooler weather approaching, Duke Energy says it hopes the event will clarify any questions about billing and provide awareness of beneficial services.
Some of the topics to be addressed include establishing an online account, saving money on your bill, energy efficiency tips, smart meters and the Share the Warmth program. Customers are encouraged to bring a copy of their bill to discuss.
This event is open to the public, with no registration required. The event will take place in the lobby of Rowan Helping Ministries’ Crisis Assistance Network, 226 N. Long St.
The first 100 customers will receive complimentary biscuits.
