SAN FRANCISCO – Operations Specialist 1st Class Johnny Benfield Jr., assigned to the Zumwalt-class destroyer USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000) and a native of Mocksville, leads a tour of the ship during San Francisco Fleet Week 2019 (SFFW).

SFFW is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America’s sea services.

During fleet week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of San Francisco and its surrounding areas.
