I talked to a nice lady named Julie at Duke Power. She emphatically said power bills will not go down if a proposed 400 acres in western Rowan County is turned into a solar farm.

I believe this means that if you live in Rowan County, you’re going to get 400 acres of eyesore with no benefit.

The only ones to benefit will be the landowner who will rent the land and those who own the ugly black panels.
