Blotter: Gold Hill man charged with peeping

SALISBURY — A Gold Hill Man is in jail after being arrested on charges of taking a photo while peeping.

Christopher Joe Sebastian, 43, of Old Beatty Ford Road in the Gold Hill area, was charged with possessing a photographic image from peeping, a felony. Warrants stated that he peeped into a bathroom occupied by a female and took a picture.

He was arrested Sunday by Salisbury police. On Sunday afternoon, he was still in the Rowan county Detention Center under a $25,000 bond.

In other reports:

• Brian Keith Becker, of Spencer, was charged Saturday with simple possession of MDPV, a psychoactive narcotic found in bath salts, second-degree trespassing and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Becker allegedly was trespassing in the Salisbury VA Medical Center’s Building No. 2 when he was found with the drug and a straw.

• Jarrett Madison Rivens, of Salisbury, was charged Friday with carrying a concealed gun and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute. Warrants allege Rivens was in possession of a 9 mm handgun and 49 grams of marijuana.

• Joseph Brandon Roberts, of Salisbury, was charged with assault on a female and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance up to a half-ounce. Warrants allege he shoved a woman to the ground and held her in a headlock with his arms around her neck and shoulders. Warrants further allege he possessed a half-ounce of marijuana.
