LANDIS — The Landis Board of Aldermen will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Town Hall, 312 S. Main St.  to discuss and consider approving a performance bond for Dollar General.

The board previously approved in June the store’s Stormwater Management Plan, which requires the owner to be responsible for monitoring and preforming maintenance required, including monthly inspection and inspection after every rainfall event of one inch or larger. The owner will also be subjected to a bond that is 1.25% of the $1.2 million project.

The board will also receive a certificate of sufficiency for a voluntary annexation request and consider calling a public hearing.

Aldermen will also consider approving budget amendments for the current fiscal year.

Citizens are asked to sign-up to speak during the public comment before the start of the meeting. They are also limited to three minutes.
