CHINA GROVE — Annual summer festival lines the streets of China Grove, featuring the farmers market, food, antique tractors, 200+ vendors, crafts, a street dance, kids games & activities, a vegetable contest, free parking with a trolley shuttle, live music, story time with a farmer, the Little Miss & Mr. Farmer contest, and fireworks.

China Grove Roller Mill
The museum will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m., presenting its new exhibit, “Farming in Yesteryears.” Artifacts and pictures will be on display depicting farm life more than 100 years ago.

Story Time with a Farmer
At 10:30 to join Farmer Stephanie as she takes the main stage to read “Right this Very Minute,” a table-to-farm book.
In 1983, at the second annual Farmers Day, Stephanie Frisbee was a winner in the Little Mr/Miss Farmer Contest. Fast forward 36 years to this, the 38th annual Farmers Day, and she is now a grown up farmer and active participant and volunteer in Farmers Day. Fifth generation farmers, Stephanie and her brother Chris own and operate their family farm, Hopeful Acres, a Century Farm, located on Miller Road.
