County and municipal offices will be closed and services rescheduled because of the Fourth of July holiday.

Salisbury

• City administrative offices will be closed Thursday.

• Salisbury Transit will not run its routes Thursday.

• Garbage and recycling collection will not be affected by the holiday.

• The street division will not offer limb or leaf collection Thursday. Collection will resume Friday.

•  Salisbury-Rowan Utilities’ administrative offices will be closed Thursday.  For water or sewer emergencies during the holiday, call 704-638-5339.

•  Salisbury Community Park will be open from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

•  The police and fire departments will be available for emergency services as usual during the holiday.

China Grove

Town offices and public works will be closed Thursday. Garbage and recycling will not be affected.

Cleveland

Town offices will be closed Thursday. Garbage and recycling will be collected Saturday instead of Friday.

East Spencer

Town offices will be closed Thursday. Trash pickup will not be affected.

Faith

Town offices will be closed Thursday. Trash pickup will not be affected.

Granite Quarry

Town offices will be closed Thursday. Garbage and recycling will be collected Friday.

Kannapolis

• City offices will be closed Thursday. Garbage and recycling services will not be affected, but there will be no collection of yard debris. City offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday.

• City parks will be open during regular hours from dawn to dusk on Thursday. In Village Park, the Rotary Express and splash pad will be open regular hours, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• The Kannapolis Farmers Market will be open regular hours, 4-7 p.m. Thursday. The market is at Vance Avenue and Dale Earnhardt Boulevard in the Oak Avenue Mall parking lot behind the Pizza Hut.

Rockwell

Town offices will be closed Thursday. Trash pickup will not be affected.

Rowan County

All administrative offices, recycling convenience centers and the recycling processing center will be closed Thursday. The landfill also will be closed.

Spencer

Town offices will be closed Thursday. The trash schedule will not be affected.
