Rowan County will start the American Legion playoffs at home on Friday at 7 p.m. against Greensboro.

While there’s still a Randolph vs. Davidson game to be played on Wednesday, Greensboro is locked into the No. 6 seed in the seven-team Northern Division.

Rowan (20-10, 5-5) is seeded third in the Southern Division.

Stanly County’s 4-3 loss to Concord on Tuesday dropped Stanly to 5-5, and Rowan swept Stanly.

Concord will get a bye as the Southern Division’s No. 1 seed. Mooresville will be seeded second, Mocksville fifth and Kannapolis sixth.
