Graduation 2019: Henderson Independent class of 2019

Six of Henderson Independent High School’s eight graduates will participate in a commencement ceremony this Saturday at the Wallace Educational Forum Board Room at 8 a.m.

The group has plans to enter the workforce and attend two- or four-year colleges. Graduates and their intentions are as follows:

  • Hugo Alonso Rubi is working for a local company and will continue to do that job.
  • Andrew Garner will attend Rowan-Cabarrus Community College then pursue a four-year school for psychology.
  • Karla Hevenor will attend Wingate University on a scholarship.
  • John Jefferies will continue to work and will attend Rowan-Cabarrus Community College for welding and plumbing at a later date.
  • Shane Charles is working for a local company and will continue this journey.
  • Eric Coates, Joshua Wall and Maggie Holdren will all enter the workforce.

The ushers from the school are William Goble, Dehmariel Ausbrook, Anlea Hutchins, Patrick Duren, S’Maryea Graham and Andrew Manus.
