Sunday’s games …

Concord 9, Carson 8

Concord scored the winning run in the bottom of the 11th and outscored Carson at Mount Pleasant High on Sunday afternoon.

Delaney Powell had four hits and three RBIs for Post 51. Powell’s double in the 11th was the game-deciding hit.

Ethan Young knocked in three runs.

Caden Hudson led Carson (4-6) with three hits and two RBIs.

Aaron Misenheimer knocked in two runs. Garrison Collins had two hits.

Carson plays at South Rowan on Monday.

 

West Rowan 12, A.L. Brown 8

Lane Adkins hit an inside-the-park homer for West Rowan in Sunday’s game.

Adkins and Noah Loeblein had two hits for West.

Andrew Kennerly and Zander Burton drove in two runs apiece.
