There is a verse and chapter in the Bible (John 3:16) that says, “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but will have everlasting life.”

Now, I have another verse and thought that goes something like this: “Some men so loved their country that they gave their life that we Americans may have freedom and a good life here and now in this country, the U.S.A.”

Am I the only person that thinks this way? Our veterans did it all. Thank them now — the new ones, the old ones, and the men and women that are still doing the job around the world.
