Catawba College

A total of 310 students have been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester at Catawba College, according to Dr. Constance Rogers-Lowery, provost of the college.

Emerson College

BOSTON — Gabriella Leonel, a resident of Kannapolis, has been named to the Emerson College dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester. Leonel is majoring in interdisciplinary. The requirement to make Emerson’s dean’s list is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

Greensboro College

GREENSBORO — Greensboro College has announced that the following students qualified academically for the dean’s list for spring 2019.

To qualify, a student must have a 3.5 grade-point average or better for the semester while having taken at least half of his/her course credit hours at Greensboro College’s main campus.

Sacred Heart Catholic School

The Sacred Heart Catholic Daughters of America held their annual education contest as part of their local, state and national competition. This year’s contest included entries in essay writing, poetry, art, computer art and photography. The 2019 topics included: “Doing my best to do good” or “Here I am Lord, I come to do your will.”
