Original play — ‘Lost in the System’  —7:30 p.m. May 10-11
Class Act, CFA’s spoken word group at Henderson Independent High School, performs “Lost In The System,” a play written by Catawba student Mason Livers in conjunction with Henderson students. It will be performed at Lee Street theatre, 329 N Lee St., on Friday and Saturday.
Artist-in-residence at Center for Faith & the Arts, Shane Manier, has been working these student for the entire school year.

None Of The Above: An Arts Exploration of School Equity — Through May 31: Interactive art installation that uses narratives, live stage presentations, visual arts to create conversations and diverse perspectives on standardized testing and school discipline disparity to broaden the school to prison pipeline conversation. During the run of the exhibit a professionally directed cycle of monologues will be performed. At EastSquare Artworks, 120 E. Innes St., behind the parking lot beside Dee’s Jewelers.
