Honor a friend with a Light of Love for Humane Society
SALISBURY — Lights of Love, a project of the Humane Society of Rowan County, will be held Friday night at City Park Lake.
For the past 20 years, the organization has set up a display of luminaria around the lake in celebration of National Be Kind to Animals Week. The lights glow from dusk until 9:30 p.m.
Lights may be purchased for $3 each and may be placed in memory or in honor of people and animals.
To buy a light, call the Humane Society at 704-636-5700 and leave contact information by Thursday night or email the information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Payment should be mailed to the Humane Society of Rowan County, PO Box 295, Salisbury, NC 28145 or may be delivered Friday evening.
The rain date for Lights of Love is Saturday.
The Humane Society of Rowan County is a nonprofit volunteer animal welfare organization not affiliated with any government or other nonprofit organization and dependent upon donations and fundraisers to support its care of sick or injured stray and abandoned animals.
