The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Davidson County and Buffalo Wild Wings in Salisbury will partner for community day Wednesday.

Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 10 percent of its sales, along with any guest donations, to Boys & Girls Clubs as part of its Team Up for Kids campaign. Restaurants across the country will participate. The company has a goal of donating more than $17 million to Boys & Girls Clubs by 2020.

The partnership enabled the Davidson clubs to get new basketball uniforms for the Salvation Army Divisional Hoop Council Tournament and other tournaments throughout the state.

The Boys & Girls Clubs sports programs promote an active and healthy lifestyle for youth who may not normally experience such opportunities.

Team members will greet customers at the restaurant, and the cheerleading squad will perform.
