Rowan weather: Sun returns, but it’s still windy

After all the watches and warnings Sunday, we can relax today, with sunny skies and a high near 63. Winds are still around, though, from the west northwest at 11-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph.

Tonight will be clear and cold, with a low of 38. Northwest wind of 5-8 mph will calm after midnight.

Tuesday will be sunny and 70, with calm wind in the morning becoming south southwest at 5-7 mph in the afternoon. It will be a mostly clear night, with a low of 51. South southwest wind will be at 5-9 mph.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and warmer, with a high of 76. Calm wind will be from the southwest at 5-7 mph in the afternoon. Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy and 56.

Thursday will be partly sunny and warm, with a high of 79. A 40% chance of showers is possible after 11 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 52.

Friday has an 80% chance of showers, with a possible thunderstorm. The high will be 73. Friday night’s chance of rain is 60%, with showers mainly before 8 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 51.

Saturday will be partly sunny and 66, with a 40 percent chance of showers. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy and 46, with a 30 percent chance of showers.

Easter Sunday will be mostly sunny and 68.
