• 100th American Legion anniversary celebration, 6 p.m. Wednesday, J.C. Price Post 107. Legionnaires and auxiliary members invited. Light refreshments.

• Word of Life Family Worship Center, 726 E. Liberty St., celebrates the Rev. Dr. Martha Starks’ 40th pastoral anniversary beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Naomi Hopkins of Refreshing Springs Christian Church. Services continue through March.
